Maria Uribe Duarte is a New York City based actor- who also sometimes sings and dances. She started taking dance lessons when her mother realized she could not stay still and always had to be doing something at all time! Maria is passionate about work that will explore connection, love, honesty and humanity, and stories that won’t allow you to blink because you’re scared you might miss something. She looks for characters that will go through emotional turmoils and characters that will allow her to throw herself to the ground every so often :) Her biggest inspiration are her mom and grandmother (the two strongest women she knows) who have always been her #1 fans.
When Maria is not performing you can find her biking around the city or going on long walks or traveling or buying flowers or sleeping!!!
